Anglicare Southern Queensland established an Emergency and Disaster Management Plan. This plan demonstrates our commitment to the safety of the staff, clients and general public. The plan sets out a clear path for co-ordinated responses to critical incidents, emergencies crises and disasters. Each Anglicare Southern Queensland site has received training and would be able to respond to the event in an efficient way and will be supported by the Anglicare Southern Queensland head office in Brisbane.
Various city and regional councils have established an emergency and disaster preparedness kit for all citizens to be prepared for an event. Please contact your local council or one of our friendly care staff for more information on these programs.
